INDICATION:

Daflora (dapagliflozin) is indicated as an adjunct to diet and exercise to improve glycemic control in adults with type 2 diabetes mellitus

USES:

Dapagliflozin is a medicine is mainly used to treat type 2 diabetes. Sometimes it can be used together with insulin to treat type 1 diabetes. Dapagliflozin is usually prescribed for type 2 diabetes

Side effect:

Hypoglycemia if taken with sulphonylureas or insulin.

Thrush.

Urinary tract infections.

Increased need to visit the toilet ( polyuria )

Pain when urinating.
